Sales Analyst (Marketing)

Job Description

The candidate will be dedicated to direct customer relations through telesales and the building of
marketing and promotional campaigns. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer care and
comfortable spending a large amount of time on the phone. We're looking for someone with excellent
customer skills, combined with a technical aptitude and knowledge of, or a keen interest in learning, the
software space.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Actively develop a customer database and identify new opportunities in our target market
  • Actively achieve sales targets for new business growth and renewals
  • Develop a solid understanding of our product suite to enable productive discussions with customers and prospects
  • Develop and conduct promotional campaigns including webinars, online presence, social media relations and conference presence to promote new offerings to our existing clients and new prospects
  • Required to attend conferences throughout Canada and US.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Energetic, enthusiastic marketing approach
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to identify leads, follow up and close deals
  • Must enjoy phone?based business development
  • Must be comfortable making cold calls, setting up appointments, follow up calls and spending a large amount of time on the phone
  • Marketing and Sales experience necessary preferably in the software sales environment to identify leads, follow up and close deals
  • Ability to develop lasting relationships with customers through knowledge, trust and credibility
  • Passionately committed to customer development and building new revenue opportunities
  • Implementation and monitoring capability of SEO, Adwords and Google Analytics
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, CRM, Google Analytics) products
  • Minimum of 5 years inside sales experience
  • Excellent communication skills required. Written and verbal

 

Job Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or similar
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, detail?oriented, dependable, independent, and budget minded
