Works with the Marketing Manager and International Product Managers to support the development and implementation of brand strategies.
This position assists with the management of marketing, forecasting, promotional programs and sales support for assigned company brands.
Strategic product management; includes planning, development and execution of all phases of product launch, both pre and post (manage product lifecycle – pre, post and discontinuation phases for assigned hearing aid, accessory and battery brands)
Identify and address market needs
Assist Marketing Manager with forecasting and budgeting of brands
Collaborate with Marketing team for development and management of support materials (print, electronic, video, POS, etc.), customer events and other marketing support initiatives to support brands
Quarterback all internal and external communications for brands
Manage a full spectrum of marketing projects from developing campaigns to executing product launches
Drive content for internal and external events (tradeshows, webinars, seminars, etc.)
Manage development and execution of promotions, initiatives and other marketing efforts to increase sales
Meet all objectives and timelines related to product launches, events and initiatives
Coordinate with HQ and internal departments for forecasting and ordering product marketing materials, POS and product needed to support launch
Participate in copywriting, proofreading, graphic implementation and printing of literature and collateral materials
Participate in the creation of marketing materials, trade and consumer ads, specific website projects, power point presentations, and other marketing materials.
Other related duties as assigned.
Strong data and analytic skills (Excel)
Above average communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Power Point), email and internet
Industry knowledge – an asset
Knowledge of Adobe CS (specifically InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) an asset
Valid driver’s licence
Marketing or Business degree/certificate or equivalent work experience
5+ years’ experience in marketing&/or product management role
Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist/Professional designation an asset
