Account Consultant

Job Descriptions:

  • Meet and exceed assigned quota and sales objectives for assigned territory in collaboration with Account Executive.
  • Present product features and benefits to all clinical call points utilizing effective sales techniques
  • Maintain relationships with key customer end-users including physicians and clinicians
  • Drives and manages the usage of consignment units, customer own units, and positions Service Protections Options
  • Coordinates and runs train the trainer programs and various educational events in collaboration with Clinical Therapies Specialists, Marketing, and other sales team members as the business requires. In-service accounts by demonstrating products and applications use
  • Manages customer requests and/or issues related to billing, VAC losses, and other related administrative responsibilities as required.
  • Promotes greater emphasis on distance education in territories with large and/or remote geographies using various online learning tools
  • Manages the transition of patients from acute to post-acute care
  • Execute on effective customer needs assessment and solution development plan
  • Effectively support contract implementation including key GPO awards
  • Maintain and increase penetration in existing accounts through effective territory management
  • Thorough knowledge and utilization of salesforce.com
  • Complete all administrative duties including required sales reports requested by management and expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Books and manages presentations either on their own or in collaboration with the marketing or other partners as assigned
  • Maintains data entry and utilizes salesforce.com to assist UIU analysis, YTD tracking, Capital sales opportunity funnel, complaint management, and various other reports in developing a territory plan to prioritize account calls and activities
  • Coordinate, manage, and participate in all local /regional conferences, tradeshows, wound care days as well as national as assigned
  • Participates in On-Call Duties periodically throughout year
  • Completes project work as required and participates in all reasonable work activities that is deemed suitable and assigned by management

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years related sales experience or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Advanced Wound Care experience preferred.
  • Evidence of top sales achievement with experience in multilevel account management required.
  • Ability to build consultative relationships with all clinicians, supply chain partners, and end users to influence product choice decisions
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to engage audiences
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and coach others
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Salesforce.com
  • Embraces and adapts well to both internal and external business and climate changes
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information and exercises discretion in all business dealings
  • Must be willing to travel to attend scheduled business and corporate functions as required.
  • Must be available to work weekends and evenings when required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license & reliable transportation vehicle available for business purposes
