Accountable for all aspects of proposal management, proposal development, required reports, summaries and editing of the company proposals and pre-qualification submissions
Develop, implement and monitor the bid schedule to ensure the schedule is realistic, achievable and meets the proposal due date
Assisting the proposal team in preparation for all proposal related tasks including but not limited to presentation/interview preparation, prepare custom content for proposals, conducting interviews with project team and resources, etc.
Proofread to ensure continuity and compliance with legal, technical and marketing specifications. Copy and edit for format, grammar, style, punctuation, and spelling
Design and produce covers, layouts, organization charts, and presentations for each submission
Work with the Marketing team to develop strategies and implement programs that ensure consistent proposal and corporate identity standards
Proactive development of tools to support the proposal team
4 to 6 years of professional work experience managing and developing corporate proposals or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience
Marketing or Engineering Degree or Diploma, or an equivalent combination of technical training and construction experience
Superior technical writing skills including copywriting, editing, grammar, style, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading skills
Must be flexible and open to changing priorities and multi-tasking simultaneously within compressed time frames
Well versed with Microsoft Office (specifically Word and PowerPoint). Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Indesign), and experience with Google apps would be an asset.
