Responsible for the management, preparation and coordination and of all technical activities on assigned project.
Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate assigned engineering work, monitors work for compliance to applicable codes and accepted engineering practices and standards, and ensures that all assigned personnel are coordinating their activities with other project participants and that the requirements of the Contract are being satisfied.
The Project Manager, Land Services ensures completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints.
This position is expected to have significant technical knowledge and awareness to be able to recognize when technical problems are developing and to initiate appropriate corrective actions.
Act as the designated representative for Client and jurisdictional agency personnel, and coordinates of all internal activities performed by engineering staff.
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Certified Engineer Technician (C.E.T). P.eng or CET preferred
5-10 years of engineering experience in site development and familiar with regulatory requirements. (ideally 8+ years)
Experience in all aspects of site engineering, including water, wastewater, lift stations/FMs and drainage design.
Minimum 3 years land development experience with a low rise developer in Canada (Current)
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Ability to work individually and as part of a team
Positive attitude, strong experience being liaison with clients/ consultants
Experience going on site for meetings
Ability to work on 3-5 developments at the same time
High attention to details and time management skills (current person lacking)
