Job Description:

  • Overseeing and managing Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments and remedial projects
  • Participation in initiatives with our Marketing department; for existing clients and to build new client relationships
  • Providing clients with your advice and recommendations
  • A great team of staff in Hamilton and other offices to work with
  • Working with junior staff; reviewing their work and providing technical assistance to help them achieve their developmental goals
  • An opportunity to use your years of experience to provide mentorship and guidance to others
  • Partnering with attentive finance staff to tackle the financial aspects of project work
  • Obviously fit will be critical for us to assess for an office that is both small and thriving. 
  • Strong writing skills are critical for this role as is a high level of attention to detail. We can determine these things during the interview process and, of course, we want to make sure we are a fit for you too. 


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science or Applied Science, or Bachelor of Engineering
  • A P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation is definitely an asset
  • At least 12 years' experience within environmental consulting, ideally at least 7 of those years will be in a project management position 
  • Experience in the completion and project management of work in support of filing Records of Site Condition in accordance with O.Reg. 153/04
  • Must possess familiarity with invoicing, budgeting, and other areas of project related financial management
  • Experience with business development initiatives and client interaction
  • All technical staff require a car, valid driver's license, and insurance as travel around the designated region is required. T
