Continue to build upon the best-in-class BI products / solutions. Gather, research and develop requirements to continually improve the product.
Document product specifications and collaborate with R&D to build prototype functionality.
Problem solve design issues and bugs in the application, including documenting solutions and establishing priority for future releases / service packs.
Supporting resource for Sales-led demos (both remote and on-site, as required) as a BI application subject matter expert. Technical resource to Sales for RFP completion.
Support Marketing documentation development, BI 'thought leadership' initiatives, and 'social media' initiatives.
Key contact for helpdesk and product testing questions / issues relating to BI functionality.
Resource to Professional Services team for implementation support.
Develop user training tools for BI product use.
This position will not likely have a significant amount of travel. Remote/work-from-home arrangements may be considered. The position will require regular presence in the Toronto office to work directly with R&D and the Product team.
Occasional travel to prospect sites to support Sales demos and client sites to support BPRs may be required.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field and /or Computer Science.
This position requires a person with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
The self-starting individual should have a minimum of 5-7 years experience working in Business Intelligence and/or Product Management role.
Experience with the following is especially valuable: relational and dimensional databasing, data visualization design, UI/UX design, .NET framework, Angular.js, Agile development, go-to-market strategy development.
