Involvement in a wide range of activities including; liaison with legal, engineering, planning and landscape consultants, review and administer contract specifications for site servicing, contractor liaison and scheduling, on-site builder liaison and coordination, obtaining grading, subdivision and security deposit releases, review and implementation of subdivision agreements and servicing contracts
Assist with Engineering assessments for construction projects Coordinate projects with internal land development team members and other disciplines;
Review and assess technical reports
Assist with preparing and administering project budgets
Assist in feasibility and due diligence evaluations on potential land opportunities
Assist in gathering and processing land development related statistics such as servicing constraints and building / market performance information
Keep current in estimating and review of Opinions of Probable costs as they relate top site servicing and overall development
Pre-approval for invoices relating to assigned projects
Assist in monitoring cash flow requirements and budget control on assigned projects
Assist in preparation and monitoring of project schedules and budgets
Assist with providing site servicing contract administration duties
Liaison with consulting engineers and contractor’s during tender processing and on site works
Participate in all project coordinating meetings to ensure proper flow of information to other team members and provide input to decision making process
Assist in preparing a pregrading database that will track earthworks pre-grade depths and
outcome for various company’s building products
Assist in preparing a development hard cost database that will track budgeted and actual land development costs for various company/s projects and products

Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, or Civil Engineering Technology diploma
1-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the construction and/or home building industry;
Registered Professional Engineer or Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) with the PEO (or working towards) an asset;
Familiarity with all applicable codes and standards;
Understanding of homebuilding technology and related construction processes
Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
Experience with Microsoft Project a definite asset
Ability to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing business environment
Ability to work effectively with key stakeholders to meet corporate objectives.
Commitment to teamwork, personal accountability, taking initiative, leadership and integrity
Should have general working knowledge of other building disciplines;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is an asset
A valid class G driver’s license and clean drivers abstract
